Doctors policy receiving and returning telephone calls

All urgent phone calls will be triaged through to the nurse, who will put through to the doctor if required. For Non-urgent assistance a message will be taken by the receptionist and your GP will return the call between patients at his discretion.

Appointments

Emergencies will be given priority.

Walk-in appointments will try to be accommodated; however booked appointments and emergencies will have priority.

Longer appointments are available on request.
Please advise reception staff if a longer appointment is required.

Home visits are available depending on the circumstances and are by appointment.

Recall and Follow up appointments

Recalls and follow up appointments are made once the doctor has received results. We will contact the patient by phone via text message or phone call to make a follow-up appointment if required. If there has been no follow up after 2 phone calls we then send a letter via registered post. Recall and follow up appointments can be made at any time with the doctor.
